What should a small-business website include?

A useful site quickly answers what you do, where you work, why a visitor should trust you, and what they should do next.

Start with the visitor's decision

Lead with the most important offer, real geography, relevant proof, and one main action. Do not make people decode the business first.

Use only pages with a real job

Most small businesses benefit from a strong Home, clear Services, authentic About content, and an easy Contact route. Add detail only when it helps a visitor decide.

What you need to provide

Business truth matters more than polished prose: an accurate service list, area, contact route, hours when relevant, and permission for claims and media.

  • An accurate list of what you actually sell or do
  • The area or locations you serve, in the names customers use
  • One contact route you will reliably answer
  • Opening hours wherever they change a visitor's decision
  • Permission for every claim, photograph, and review you publish

Keep it current

Important business facts should live once and update every relevant public use through a reviewed, reversible change.

Answer a few questions and we will show you what your website would include, what it would cost, and which parts we look after. Nothing is bought and nothing is charged until you say yes. You can stop partway through and pick it up later, or hand the rest to us.
